Polaroid I-2 vs Impossible I-1

What started out as a fun and interesting comparison was somewhat spoiled by the poor weather conditions. It was overcast and grey, but despite that, I didn't want to keep this comparison from you.
In this post, I'm comparing the Polaroid I-2, the high-end camera released on September 7, 2023, with the Impossible I-1, launched on May 10, 2016, by what was then known as The Impossible Project.
I bought the I-1 camera on eBay for $135 and I'm impressed by the performance of it. Both its sharpness and contrast hold their own against the much more expensive I-2. I'm still charmed by the I-1 design and the solid build quality of the camera body.
Framing your subject using the viewfinder, however, which consists of two lenses, is almost impossible. At close distances, you get significant parallax errors, as shown in photo 4 and 6.
That said, I find the results too inconsistent to draw any firm conclusions or give a final verdict just yet. The varying results make it difficult to make a fair comparison between the two cameras.
I'd like to repeat this test in beautiful, sunny weather, so we can make a better assessment of colour rendition and contrast. But for now, I didn't want to keep these shots from you.
